The First 3 Weeks in Frankfurt

The first 3 weeks... those were the magical ones!

Although each person's classes only started in April, most of the Erasmus students met on the 1st of March in the BCN building right in front of the Fachohschule Frankfurt for a brief presentation of the Summer semester and taking care of the papers.

After that we had 3 weeks of intensive german language classes, something like 6 hours per day.
Apart those boring but useful classes all the other moments were (to say the least) fantastic!

We went out at night, got to know the city along with each other, took part in some events organized by the great International Office services.
Events like:

5th March - a meeting in a cafe with everybody's buddies (a buddy is a local student helping the foreign ones in their first times in Frankfurt);

12th March - a guided tour to the Römer and the Rathaus (city hall);

13th March - a guided tour to the center and old part of the city;

16th March - a guided tour to the Cinema Museum;

19th March - a guided tour to Wiesbaden;

23th March - a guided tour to the Architecture Museum;

Apart these great events, there were three other major ones, organized by the people:

3rd March - First night out;

12th March - Iza's birthday party;

17th March - St. Patrick's day party (in a Brasilian pub!! ihihih)

That's enough of dates, here are the pictures!!

The first night out with the people! :)

The second night out! It was up to me to make a bad figure by being the one opening the Karaoke night!

The coldest night in my life, while I went to take some night pictures with Iza.

The U-Bahn (Subway) number U6, which would take some of us to our Wohnheim :)

Angel, the guy!

Iza, the chick!

The city as seen from the Main river.

That chick in the left is Maria! Caliente ;)

This chick is Angel!! ihihih

A cool afternoon by the Main (it was really cool - cold - cause Frankfurt isn't quite like the Bahamas in March)

A night in Ginnheim (that's another Wohnheim, or student's residence. I was living on the LULA)
